“Private Love” Is in Cinemas

PHNOM PENH: “Private Love” premiered right before Khmer New Year at Legend K-Mall, aimed to attract young adults to the cinema. With its catchy original song by Nou Ousaphea who also starred in the movie alongside Keo Monyta, Neay Krouen, and Vor Lik, this movie focuses on its tagline: “When you’re happy with someone in private, you don’t need to prove on social media.”

Writer and director, Diep Sovanndara, said that he was inspired to write this movie after witnessing so many interactions of people on social media trying to prove their love for one another and other related dramas. He said that the movie production had to be put on pause for almost a year due to Covid-19 before they could finish filming.

In this romantic comedy movie, he wanted to explore the difference between life partners and just lovers. Viewer Discretion is Advised. The movie was produced by LD Picture Production.

“Private Love” is available in all cinemas.
